You are a strategic leader with expertise in property asset management, particularly within the Adult Social Care (ASC) and Education sectors. You possess the ability to independently manage, provide professional advice, and oversee property transactions within a sub-portfolio. You have excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with legal, financial services, and other stakeholders.
What the Job Involves
You will act as the strategic lead for property assets within a designated sub-portfolio, providing professional advice across the Council’s estate. Your main responsibility will be to manage the ASC and Education sub-portfolio, ensuring maximum value for customers and the council. This role requires handling all aspects of property management, including acquisitions, lease events, disposals, and long-term investments, with minimal supervision. You will draft reports, collaborate with legal and financial teams, and maintain strong relationships with service departments to keep stakeholders informed throughout all property transactions.
