Who You Are
We are seeking an arboricultural professional to join our thriving tree service team. You are a proactive individual with personal drive and initiative, eager to learn and improve. You have strong experience working in urban settings, particularly in tree inspections, surveys, diagnosing tree defects/diseases, and specifying remedial works. You have excellent communication skills and can engage with a range of stakeholders including Council officers, Councillors, Developers, Community groups, and the Public.
What the Job Involves
As part of the arboriculture officers team, you will manage and inspect the Council’s tree stock, carry out risk management, and offer specialist arboricultural advice. You will issue work to our Contractor and In-house tree service, and perform duties beyond the technical area of arboriculture, including financial management, general administration, member’s enquiries, and contract management.
