What the Job Involves

The role involves supporting the Strategic Planning and Infrastructure team by engaging in activities related to Development Management, Planning Enforcement, and Spatial Planning. Responsibilities include processing planning applications, preparing policy documents, contributing to area-based strategies, and managing public participation initiatives. You will deliver high standards of customer service, build effective partnerships, and contribute to team objectives while supporting senior officers in casework and project delivery. Depending on your career grade, you may specialize in Development Management or Planning Policy, leading significant projects and providing strategic advice to the Council.
