Role

Who You Are

You are an experienced Social Worker with expertise in family safeguarding. You possess the skills necessary to manage complex cases and work collaboratively within a team. You thrive in a structured environment, effectively undertaking comprehensive assessments and care proceedings. You can respond adeptly to risk and have experience working in both private and public court settings.

What the Job Involves

The role involves working within a pod system, with each pod consisting of 5 Social Workers and 1 Manager, to enhance management, oversight, and support. You will conduct timely assessments, including parenting assessments, to develop outcome-focused care plans. You will also be responsible for initiating and completing care proceedings within court timescales and achieving permanency plans for children, such as adoption. Additionally, you will be required to document and analyze your interventions with children and families.
