Who You Are
You are a dedicated and qualified social worker with a Dip SW, BA, or MA in Social Work or its equivalent. You are either registered or due to be registered with Social Work England and possess a deep understanding of Community Care Legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act 1983. Experienced in formulating assessments and support plans, you work collaboratively to improve outcomes for adults with care and support needs. You approach your work with respect for diversity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous development.
What the Job Involves
This hybrid role entails contributing to the operational delivery of an effective Adult Social Care Service. You will manage a diverse and complex caseload, accountable for making critical decisions and ensuring safeguarding, support planning, and the wellbeing of service users. You will work within legal frameworks, preparing reports, undertaking direct work with service users, and collaborating with various health and social care agencies. The role requires you to ensure delivery within financial resources, lead safeguarding inquiries, and uphold the social value whilst optimising financial performance. You will also be responsible for maintaining high-quality documentation and engaging in professional development activities.
