Who You Are
You are an experienced professional with a deep understanding of welfare, housing and homelessness policies, case law, and legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act. You have specialized knowledge in homelessness decision-making, safeguarding vulnerable adults and children, and possess the ability to work collaboratively with courts, solicitors, and legal departments to prevent homelessness.
What the Job Involves
As a Homeless Housing Coordinator, you will be an integral part of either the Families or Singles Team. Your role involves working closely with partners to provide expert advice and support for applicants threatened with homelessness. You will work to sustain current accommodations or facilitate transitions into suitable private rentals. You will prevent or delay homelessness by collaborating with partners to enhance resilience and housing sustainment, aligned with Enfield’s Early Help strategy.
