What the job involves
The Learning Disabilities Commissioner role is crucial in delivering the Council’s vision of making a positive difference in adult social care. You will focus on designing and commissioning services for individuals with learning disabilities and their carers. This involves the development of commissioning strategies, improvement programs, service redesign, and project management. Key responsibilities include strategic commissioning to promote independence, prevention and reduction of health inequalities, and joint work with Council colleagues and partners across South West London. In this role, you will build strong networks and champion digital innovation to modernize service delivery.
