Who You Are
You are a skilled practitioner capable of building strong relationships with children, young people, their families, and carers to deeply understand their needs and plan appropriately. You have recent experience within the court arena and are registered with SCW or SCE, or are willing to register with SCW if not currently registered.
What the Job Involves
As part of the Family Support & Protection Team, this role requires you to assess and plan for children, young people, and families who need social care to ensure their health, wellbeing, and protection from neglect and abuse. You will complete assessments and develop outcome-focused plans to improve the welfare of children and young people within set time frames. If necessary, you will prepare written evidence and manage cases through legal proceedings. The role involves collaboration with multi-agency partners to reduce risk and vulnerability in children and young people.
