Who You Are

You are an experienced professional with a passion for helping students in Plymouth get to school safely. You have a supervisory background, enjoy training and supporting staff, and excel in communication and customer service. You are proactive, relish diverse challenges, and believe in maintaining a sense of humor in your work environment.

What the job involves

In this role, you will drive to various locations in the Plymouth area to support Passenger Assistants. This will include traveling with them and the students, as well as speaking to parents, schools, and operators. You will manage and investigate Health & Safety forms, answer phone queries, and occasionally undertake additional duties. You will work Tuesday to Friday, 29.6 hours per week, in a role that guarantees variety and unpredictability.

Skills

  • Full clean driving license
  • Vehicle access for Plymouth travel
  • Supervisory experience
  • Capability in managing performance and absence
  • Training experience, especially for Passenger Assistants
  • Understanding of Health and Safety protocols
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases
  • Ability to work independently
  • Enhanced level DBS clearance
  • Sense of humor
  • Experience with Special Educational Needs (desirable)
