You are a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estate Surveyor, with a proven track record in strategic property advice across a wide range of assets. Holding a degree and a professional qualification such as RICS, you possess in-depth knowledge of the property industry, estate, and asset management. Your extensive experience in managing staff, including technically qualified teams, and managing consultants/advisors on projects ensures you can lead with equity, ambition, kindness, and accountability. What the Job Involves

The Senior Estate Surveyor is responsible for advising on properties to maximize value through lettings, disposals, or acquisitions. You will manage up to 5 staff and external contractors, ensuring high standards of estates management are met. Key tasks include delivering strategic property advice, managing commercial lease events, maintaining safety and compliance of Council assets, and collaborating on major regeneration projects and asset acquisitions. Additionally, you will lead the development and implementation of the Council-wide property review process and contribute to reducing carbon emissions in the estate management process.
